Bill was born in Roanoke, Virginia and attended Virginia Tech.  He spent a major part of his career at Sovran Bank, a predecessor to the Bank of America, but was also Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee at First Florida Bank in Tampa.  He worked at a “Wall Street” firm in the World Trade Center and embarked on a consulting career that took him into both small and very large banks in New England, the Mid-Atlantic region and the South.

Bill and his wife Judy have lived in the City of Fairfax since 1993. They share 4 children and 18 year old Meghan is a Senior at Fairfax High School.  Bill and Judy have a special commitment to the long term success of our city. Judy served as President on the Independence Day Celebration Committee in 1999 and 2000.
