EXPERIENCED
Bill brings 40 years of private sector experience in strategic planning, banking, investments, municipal markets, and finance.  He has worked on Wall Street and on “Main Street” in a variety of roles during his career. His consistent leadership and support of our City’s economic development and schools, as well as his involvement in civic activities have broadened his experience here in Fairfax.

QUALIFIED
Bill’s background in banking and consulting will be beneficial to the City.  He has a thorough understanding of municipal finance, strategic planning, investment markets, and financial institutions. Bill has a demonstrated commitment to primary and secondary education, higher education, and the Smithfield Plantation Museum.

LEADERSHIP
In his professional life, Bill rose steadily in financial institutions from the entry position of Trainee to a seat on the Board of Directors.  He has consistently exhibited the ability to see the “big picture” and the implications of today’s decisions on tomorrow.
